Potatoes

Potateos grow under the ground. This may seem strang to some of you but its because if they stay in the light to long they go green and this can be quite dangerous.

I started this blog as a way of recording, remembering and ordering the things I make and sew, the creations of my four daughters who change and develop so quickly, and the small (and big) things I am learning along the way. There are others who make things more perfectly, write about them more elegantly and photograph them more beautifully but I jumped in anyway. I always was the sort of person who put her hand up in class. I'm still learning a lot about this blog and what it is that I want it to be.
