small matters: The Lesbian Wedding

Ruby started out drawing a conventional wedding but the groom looked a bit feminine, so she decided to make it a lesbian wedding. Ten-year-olds get it.

Welcome

I started this blog as a way of recording, remembering and ordering the things I make and sew, the creations of my four daughters who change and develop so quickly, and the small (and big) things I am learning along the way. There are others who make things more perfectly, write about them more elegantly and photograph them more beautifully but I jumped in anyway. I always was the sort of person who put her hand up in class. I'm still learning a lot about this blog and what it is that I want it to be. I'm still learning a lot about this life and what I want it to be as well. I live in Melbourne, Australia, work part time and sew most evenings. Comments and questions are always more than welcome.
