Ready for School?

Lil was not keen on going to kinder this morning. 'It's boring' she said in her dismissive way. 'All we do is play and draw pictures and make up stories about the Yarra.'

Welcome

I started this blog as a way of recording, remembering and ordering the things I make and sew, the creations of my four daughters who change and develop so quickly, and the small (and big) things I am learning along the way. There are others who make things more perfectly, write about them more elegantly and photograph them more beautifully but I jumped in anyway. I always was the sort of person who put her hand up in class. I'm still learning a lot about this blog and what it is that I want it to be. I'm still learning a lot about this life and what I want it to be as well. I live in Melbourne, Australia, work part time and sew most evenings. Comments and questions are always more than welcome.
